Gents!
I know this is a super old thread, but I thought Id give it a try anyways.
I'm planning on going to Iceland next summer for a road trip adventure. I will take my own Pathfinder and take the ferry from Denmark, have a stop for a few days at Færøyene (Torshavn) then go to Iceland.
I´ve been looking on the internet at different routes in the highlands, and seen there are a lot of nice dirt roads to go crazy on. However, my biggest concern is all the rivers I need to cross.
So, how is it driving in the highlands with the Pathfinder? I saw your car Jens is pretty much stock?
Have you been driving in the Highlands your self, and the rivers?
Anyone have any comments or advice for me?
