I used new gaskets from Nissan... The kit did not have them... I also used exhaust sealant... The system has a lower growl to it but is not very much louder that stock... The Gibson does not have places to re-attach one of the rear grounding strap or the sound damper that come on the OEM exhaust... I used a stainless exhaust/radiator hose clamp to mount the rear grounding strap and sound damper (I have the stainless system)... Just be sure you have enough clearance between the bottom of the vehicle and the rear suspension... It is a very close fit (the OEM exhaust is "flattened" there)... Take your time and make sure of the fit before you tighten everything up... The tail pipe can be cut or left as is depending on how much you want the tail pipe tip to stick out... Hope this helps............. Triffidblink32 wrote:Very good news. I'm doing the deal right now then. Did the kit come with fresh gaskets for the cat's or did you purchase new on your own? How is the sound/volume of the gibson? Thanks.
