My customers haven't actually had many bad experiences with aftermarket MAF's, provided they're properly calibrated (that's what IAVL does). What people don't get about Nissan MAF's is that the ECM extrapolates the idle values across the whole range of readings, so just throwing a new one in without calibration is almost guaranteed to cost you power, gas mileage, or both. Aftermarket CKP's and CMP's are a different story, I can't tell you how much hair-pulling and head-scratching I've seen over the years from aftermarket units that didn't work right. You're absolutely right about those, stick to OE and skip the heartache.find_your_path_r51 wrote: ↑Wed May 03, 2023 12:18 pmMAF would be my first part to check, cleaning might not be enough.
Do yourself a favour and get the original OEM Nissan Sensors. Even if the sensors of known brands do fit, they might sit in an complete plastic housing instead of just a half plastic one. So it happend to be with a Hella Crankshaft sensor (if I remeber correctly) in a 4l Petrol Pathy.
