Rear Aux. power outlet

Postby Scuba591 » Tue Feb 18, 2025 1:02 pm

Greetings, I just need to confirm that the cigarette style power outlet in the rear of the 2010 Nissan pathfinder, trunk or luggage area right side as you are looking into vehicle, has power only when the key is in ignition and turned on. I am looking to power a safe box, which will draw power always. I am ok with the safe box not having power when the vehicle is off.
Clear as mud? lol

According to the FSM the cargo outlet and lower front outlet are battery, not ignition. The upper front and console outlets are ignition. See PWO-4 here:

Thanks for that info. I'm not wanting a constant draw... so I'll think of something else. The Hornady AR rapid safe does not have much draw, but it is not worth the worries IMO
