100% agree but I don't think anyone will know what you are talking about if you call it an "intake pipe with less restrictions in it" or a IPWLRII. Say "cold air intake" or CAI and everyone knows what you are talking about.

"CAI" is still a misnomer for anything that sucks air from the engine box. If you need a word, K&N blurbs their own filters as being "low restriction" and everyone understands the concept of a "cone filter". To toss around the term "CAI" when it's actually an HAI does a major disservice to outfits like AEM who make actual CAI's and not junk that sounds like it's doing something.

That looks pretty clean. What all did you have to do in order to get the box and tube to fit?

Also, I see you went with the LS throttle body upgrade. Any issues with cold starting? I have heard some experience hesitation after the upgrade with getting the engine to initially fire during cold starting.
Sorry for the delay. Indeed I did. It wants to stall on a cold start is the only issue. I fire it up and have my foot/hand ready to give it a few quick taps and it places itself. I was told I to drill a small hole to resolve that issue. I actually have a 2nd TB and might experiment with it on that one.

I also have the cold start issue after doing the R8 coils. The problem mostly wasn't in the summer and then went away after I installed my solar panel, but once winter came it came back, for obvious reasons. Then my Optima Yellow Top decided to show it wasn't healthy then the temps dropped, just 6 months outside of warranty. i then went with an Odessey Extreme that also had an extra 100CCA over the D34 and even in the coldest of temps I've been surprised at how often it'll fire on the first try.

You've probably heard by now, VF Tuner is now available for us too. Just came out this past weekend.
