Yes, they are certainly beefier than the stock springs, but you should know by now that the stock springs are better relegated to a car. Let's just say I went from bottoming out on pavement bumps & dips, to being able to drive over the top of mostly anything without bottoming out. Some people prefer the marshmallowing of a suspension, some prefer it to be stiff. Since I get off the road a bit, the stock suspension was absolutely useless. I honestly can't remember how much extra clearance I got, but I think it was around the 2" mark. That may sound like a lot, but it really isn't. I just picked up some OME 1" rear lift springs and they are massive. Almost twice as thick and way longer than the stock springs. It looks like they will lift the rear more than stated and they may make the ride to stiff.
