how do you get rid of the stupid dealership logo 'badge'

i know typical de-badging is fairly easy, but what do you do when a stupid mofo dealership puts one of these guys on your car(see below). i didn't pay thousands & thousands of dollars to be their 3rd party advertisement!

it's like a super adhesive sticker of some sort, but you obviously don't wana use anything sharp or it'll scratch paint n stuff. i hate these practically 'embedded' advertisements!!

use your finger nail to lift one edge and peal off the rest. it it brakes apart you can use a paper towel and some rubbing alcohol to rub off the rest.

You could also use a heatgun/hairdryer to help soften the glue... Just don't get it hot enough to damage the paint...........

I used dental floss one time. It's remarkably strong.

Most professionals use a heat gun to remove the stickers/badging. They heat up the area and slowly peal the sticker/badging off. I have tried it and it works like a charm. A hairdryer might work as well.

as stated...

Use hairdryer to heat the sticker then use floss to peel off the sticker with no damage...Works awesome! Will do that to the pathy when weather permits...

use floss on a sticker like in my OP? i thought that only worked on the larger emblem like objects..

i still have yet to do this. i don't want to have half the sticker stuck on the back, nor do I want paint to come off b/c I got it too hot.
although, it REALLY grinds my gears to leave an advertisement on my $12k vehicle

You wont harm the paint as long as you heated well and the sticker loosens up. I'm planning to debadge all the logos...

The pros use heat and gentle pulling to get the sticker off.

If you heat it enough to get it off, but still sticky crap use "3M General Purpose Adhesive Remover". Just soak a paper towl and hold it on there for a few then start rubbing. I used it to get the foam adhesive off left from my badging and work way better than goo gone.
