Hi!
Well, I looked at the US version of the instructionbook, and I can see that we operate with different key fobs. In the US version, it says something about deactivating and activating the soundsignal when lock/unlock. We do not have this option in norway.
My keyfob is used as a automatic signalsender. On the fob it contain two buttons. Lock and unlock.
I rearly use these. In the keyfob there is a sender that gives the car a signal within 0.5 meters. On the doorhandle there is a button to lock / unlock the car. These buttons is on the driverdoor, the passanger front door and the rear hatch. There is also a selectiv lockingfunction that allows me to push the button on time to unlock the door, or two push to (the second push within 5 sec) to unlock all doors. This function can be deactivated. To lock all doors = 1 push. When locking there are one long signal from the turnlights, when unlock there are 2 fast blinks.
I also dont need to use any ignitionkey on my car, the LE Premium edition of the Norwegiansold Pathfinders have these functions standard. There is a builtin ignitionkey that activates when it gets signal from the keyfob.
I have asked Nissan Norway about the ability for a soundsignal, but they says that is not an option for the european model. So I guess there are some differences on where the cars are delivered.
US models do not have these functions?
