The grill, bumper & fender liners. The service manual is NOT very amusing because it jumps around to various sections, such as "before doing this, go to this section of the manual and do this." Most of my time was spent bending & propping the fender liners enough to get a wrench or wratchet underneath, which really didn't work very well. If I have to do this again, I'll be completely removing the fender liners.jurbina23 wrote:So to replace the headlights you have to pretty much take off the grill and bumper from the truck?
Yeah, I can't seem to win when trying to take a picture at night. It's insane how much light is being used everywhere. I'll try to get some more pics in the future, but away from civilization. The only thing is, I'll have my HIDs installed by that time, but at least it will show how well/poor the projectors work.Lights look good. You can see the cut off way down the road easily. Although it is hard to tell how much light is actually in front of you compared to stock. Just because of the wet road and street lights that are there.
carid.comwow, where did you get those? I have xenon etc, but not projectors.... do you get them without the orange??? (no rule in europe for that, just have it clear). Looked awesome... Are they self adjusting as the orignal xenon?
Ok, will have a look at it. Thanks bro! We use orange bulbs or blank bulbs with orange lights. You can easy spot a american import car on that yellow field as non of the europeans for ages has been produced with that. Some find it cool, others dont... I think I like it all clear.... do you know if it is possible to remove?NVSteve wrote:Yeah, I can't seem to win when trying to take a picture at night. The orange as in the turn signal light & running light? Yes, they are covered with an orange lens. They aren't self adjusting. In fact, the only adjustment allowed is vertical, although the horizontal can be shimmed. These are just cheap projectors that manage the light far better than stock.
