Nissan Pathfinder Arctic Truck -

Hello all Pathfinder owners. Just new to this forum and just started reading all the interesting threads here. I would like to introduce my self and my car. I have a 07 pathfinder r51 and currently live in Norway. And as a Norwegian we don´t live too far from the crazy Icelanders... and what´s good with that you might ask? Well, the Icelanders have a nifty way of building 4x4!! Mine is built by the Norwegian Branch of Arctic Trucks. It´s lifted on the body and fitted with 17x10inch alloys with Dick Cepek Radial FC II tires 35inch. The fender flares and side panels are custom by AT and are just the most awesome fenderflares for PAthfinder and Navara.... It also has a bull guard, 2x hella 3000 xenon, wind shield/bonnet protector++ I know a lot of americans LOVE to lift their cars crazy ass on the suspension, well, this is a completly other style.. Also in Norway we have REALLY strict rules of what you can or can´t do with you car. Every modifcation you do you need to get it approved by a test station. :(

So whats the plans? I am thinking of lifting it around 2.5 inches on the suspension, fit custom AT carrier arms, spacers on the rear, fit 37 og 38inch tyres, remove the DPF filter (diesel particle filter) and tune the engine... maybe change the gear ratio on the differential.....

Well, thats europe.... The best sportscars and luxury cars of the world is made here, however europe is also the diesel capitol of the world! But it doesn´t really matter... I mean, 4x4, offroad... diesel is the way. You got thorq from almost idle man :D And as far as I know, in the US the diesel is having its new "golden moments". People suddenly understand that a A5 audi 3TDI tuned is FASTER then a S5 with 4.2V8 :) Thats on example of hundres.... But when it comes to sports cars, I like petrol :D 4x4 is lovely with diesel

I can tell you one thing, you wont! They dont sell parts like that unless you get it rebuilt at Arctic Trucks.... Hold your horses; In norway the pathfinder rebuild cost you: 22925 USD! ;) Then our average sallary is in the country is 62781USD.. Expensive place

Very nicely done. I see you're in what looks to be about a foot and a half of snow. Have you messed with any of the innards yet or is the engine stock? You said Deisel right?

I would love to take a spin in that! I can't understand why light trucks in the US aren't made with a diesel engine.
