Sorry to hear you lost your keys. Maybe next time you'll check to make sure the keys work on your SUV.remyek wrote:Saturday I was out in the sunny weather riding motorcycle. All fun. Had a good drive from Norway to sweeden and around. However, at a gas station i noticed that the small room in my backpack was open. And in there the key to my car was. The key is probably somewhere on the highways were we did anythning from 150 - 300kmt. Even mye housekeys was in the karLuckely a friend of mine had the spare key to mye house. So I got it and the sparekey to the car. However it blinks and stuff on the key, it wont oppen the car. So I took the plastic covering off and openede the car with the key. The alarm went off. In the instruction manual it said. Open the car with the keyhole behind the plastic by the handle on the driver side. "The alarm will go off". Put the key in the ingition, remove the plastic bit first. Turn ignition to on. Unlock car in the center console. yeah right... ignition wont budge.... HATE NISSAN!!!
Whats the point with a spare key when it does not work.... omg
I have used that key some time ago, and it worked then. Had the car town in by roadhelp and they recoded the key at the shop at no charge. However, I needed to order a new key. If I loose this one I need to change the brain in the car and that would cost TOOOO much. One new key? Pricetag 780USD here in Norway!!! OMGvolvite wrote:Sorry man. That really sucks. I made sure both my keys worked when I bought mine. They are expensive to replace as well.
R1s... great bikes! I had the blue '98 model, the first year it came out. I'd love to have an 1198 right now, but with two little kids, my wife won't let me go anywhere near a motorcycle. Have fun with that new honda (also great bikes... I totaled a '96 CBR-RR back in the day, ouch!)and keep the shiny side up!remyek wrote:Just a friends bike. R1. Buying a new cbr1000rr now. Always had ducati. Aim
For a new 1198 NeXT year
I agree. The duc 1198 is definitely the benchmark for sportbikes when it comes to performance AND style.remyek wrote:the r1 is ok, nothing unusual, nothing spectacular. It´s just a bike with good performanceThe duc however is soul, passion, raw power, have the looks and the sound, it´s like a ferrari vs porsche... both performing great, but only one have the looks and the passion
Sure, a new one is 120 000 usd! hahaha... In the US, I AM FILTHY RICH! Here I´m just above averagevolvite wrote:Are you saying someone paid 84,000 USD for a used pathfinder?
