My 05 Pathfinder has such a weak horn. I was checking it out the other day and noticed it only had one horn, i.e. one frequency. The high one so it has a very sad beep beep sound. Is it suppose to have 2 horns a low and a high? It appears to only have wiring for one.

Any ideas as far as what to do. Any and all suggestions welcome. I drive the interstate to and from work and getting peoples attention before you wreck is crucial. I'm open to air horn ideas as well

I have been inspired, not impressed with Wolo. So I found the bigger better. Even gives you a sound clip of what to expect. Ill be getting this soon. Just hope I can "plug and play" into OEM style. I dont want a button.

Keep me posted! I like the sound bite. If you can get this one installed, plug and play or with the relay setup, then count me in.

Should be coming in this week. A question??? As I prepare for the install. I have 2 wires on the horn I have now. Any ideas on which wire is negative and positive. Trying to incorporate existing wires and use provided relay without adding a button.
This is the provided install guide, I'm trying to use the stock Negative/Ground to go into new horn. While the positive would come through the new relay. Ideas?

I am an avid horn blower as it is and now I find reasons to hit it. It sounds that good. SO MUCH better than the road runner beep beep it use to have.

Install was a nightmare at first, partly due to ill upkeep of truck. Positive terminal connector was so corroded lost all electrical power to vehicle. Some baking soda and scrubbing later all is well.

I tried to over complicate this install by putting relay by battery. Don't waste your time or wire. With a friend and EE uncle looking at it we put the relay next to the horn. Plug OEM wires from old horn in #85 and #86 of the relay. #30 on relay runs to battery with an inline 30amp fuse. #87 runs positive to horn, then run a ground from the horn. DONE fits on same bracket as OEM.

This horn sounds kinda in between a Semi-Truck and Boat horn. Very loud and Low. Got cut off at a stop light and hammered on it, kid in opposing traffic got startled and dropped his cigarette. That's pretty loud in my book. Does not have the high/whiny pitch like a train horn at all.

If your on the fence on this one go ahead and get it. And Enjoy
