So I decided to give my wheels a revamped since they were getting a little dicey.

I pretty much used all the write ups I could. I cleaned the wheels with acetone and sanded down and roughed up the wheel surface. I used index cards that I had to "mask", they were a bit of a pain since I had to move the wheels (I could only do 2 wheels at a time since I only had the scissor jack and spare). I did about 2 light layers (about 12-16" above he wheel) and another similar manner but making sure to get the insides of the wheels.
I did the first two in the afternoon one day and let them setup over night into the late morning and did the second set in a similar manner. If I had a full set of stands, 24-30 hours would have been total time. So far seems pretty sturdy. I am not to worried about them as I would a new set of wheels since a can of spray paint is 8 bucks lol. We will see how they do this winter or If I am able to find any mud/trails this summer. It definitely gives the car a whole new look. I was hoping to try and get some of the "Fat Five" I think LE wheels but I am thoroughly impressed with these. Enjoy

EDIT: I accidentally tagged two of my stems since I forgot to tape them don't forget lol. Also for the mounting holes. I cut the index cards into circles just about the size of the holes and thy squeezed right in.

I would like to try and do the roof racks as well and I am also thinking of redoing the lettering on the sides and the tail gate (minus the nissan) black as well. I am just worried about not getting them lined up right again.

rustoleum bed liner spray. I used about half a can per wheel.

Nice job.

once the wheels are out, you pop out the center cap. THere are clips to remove the emblems, just be careful and gently apply pressure. Prep the same way. I wrapped a piece of tape around the "clip" portion to prevent issues with reinserting.

I've had trouble in the past finding an exact match to touch up silver wheels. To ensure that no stone was left unturned, a final touch up of all non-paint surfaces is done. This includes the muffler and front grill.

I might have to do that to my 18 LE wheels. That looks real nice.

Looks real good. I've been looking for a set of aftermarket black wheels, might just do this. How are they holding up? Any issues with cleaning them? I just do not want to be touching them up every few weeks, looks bada$$ though.
