I brought along my Olympus E-3, which is a large & heavy DSLR built to survive WWIII, because I knew it would rain at some point. Anyway, to keep all the a-holes out there from stealing and using any of my pictures on Flickr, I always resize everything to a paltry 1024x768 & sharpen them to a point that nobody would be able to enlarge them without them looking like crap. The originals I have are much better quality.
