XD Addict Wheels on V8 Pathfinder

My Pathfinder came with 18inch rims and id like to switch to 17inch to get more aggressive tire options.It is stock height now but im getting a lift later. I have asked Nissan and a wheel vendor if they think it would work. I get very mixed uncertain answers. I guess since I have a V8 my brake calipers are bigger. Anybody try these wheels on a V8? :shock:

17" Rims will work fine on the V8. I've tried the 17" stock Nissan rims on mine. I will be replacing my 18" rims to 17" sometime soon as well.

I too wanted more options. I ended up buying a set of 4 Nissan frontier 17s that fit perfect and put some goodyear duratracs on them. I've been very happy with my tire/wheel combo.
