Just finished installing everything.
The 7 pin connector isn't so bad except that I had to lower the spare to get the right angle on that grey connector (big hands

). The Airlift 1000 I expected to be more difficult because all I did was jack up the path about 2". I didn't really have any space to take off the wheels in my 1 car garage. In the end it all worked out
I took other's lead and installed the brake controller in the cubby. The bracket is held ing by velcro command strips to see how well it holds up. If they hold then it will allow me to easily remove the brake controller and bracket for when we are not using it.
The only thing not working at the moment is the +12V on the 7 pin. The dealer indicated that the relay was no longer needed, but I'm thinking it still is. The slot for the relay still has the empty socket
