CAI?

Postby special_K » Tue Sep 25, 2012 9:00 am

Anyone have any experience with the cai's on a pathfinder? If they did it help your mpg and was there a noticeable throttle response? Off topic...is there a programmer that works with the pathfinder?

I use a Superchips Cortex, it works well, but if I was putting money down today, I'd go with the Bullydog. It also has a monitor for transmission temp.

No experience on CAIs, IMHO they aren't worth much, and you'd be better served with exhaust modification.

Yeah, I had seen where superchip had a programmer, I'm not a big fan of their products. I'm glad to hear bulldog makes one for the pathfinder.

I had a cai on my mustang but on the other hand I had the exhaust modified from the headers all the way back and a custom dyno tune..it was a whole new animal after that. I did go from 19mpg in town to 13-14 lol! It was worth it though.
