Doc,

Your results are keeping me from purchasing a bullydog. I've really wanted one, but not at the cost of even less MPGs.

well if mpgs are your #1 priority, then yeah i'd say probably not based on what i'm getting. however i'm only one v8 owner, and i'm definitely usually heavy footed (i have to -try- when i want to grandma it).

however if you're ok with losing a couple mpgs for a TON more hp, then you really should get it ;)

i thought racerx had a bully dog too though, wonder what he's getting

Interesting read in this thread. I thought the Bullydog was programmable to help increase either MPG or HP but not both at the same time (too bad). Are you all saying the Bullydog is only good for increasing HP and can't help with MPG? So far on my 2012 PF which I only had for three weeks (850 miles) I am getting between 19-21 mpg around town and 24 mpg (one trip 109 each way) on the highway. Power wise my PF has more than enough power for me and my small trailer.

it's supposed to increase hp and mpg. and at least in my buddys frontier (same v6 as pathy) he is getting 1-2mpg better along with the increase in hp.

keep in mind i didn't go from just stock to having the bully, i also added much bigger tires/etc so it is somewhat hard for me to get what the increase is over exactly what i was getting stock.

so really i'm just saying your results may vary.
