I felt a huge difference between the stock squishy 265-70-16 and the 275-60-HR17's on LE wheels ....drove alot better and did feel stiffer ( which is what I was lookng for ! ) .... so ... YEA ...20's are going to stiffen it up a bunch ....
Also I bet those 20's are a ZR rating ... compared to the stocK SR rating in itself is going to stiffen the ride and make it wander !!

only 718 at the front wheels, but it is over 800 crank easy...

As for the PFs front end issues, I would hope that the caster is well within spec on a 6000 mile old rig. IMO, it is a toe adjustment that might get rid of some of the twitchyness. I might try to toe it in just a tick and see what happens... probably won't get any better, though.
