I am planning to change my 92 Pathy tires (rims size 15).
any Advice guyz about the best size and the brand?

My use is in the Sand and city.

if you need something good for Saudi sand, try the Michelins LTX or the Cooper Discoverer HTs. both are very good for floatation and have soft side walls. just stay away from offroad gravel and rocks!
for city driving, both are very quiet, with my personal preference of the Michelin. You can also try the Michelin Lattitudes for sand, i just tried them 2 days ago and was very impressed with their performance.

can i use more than 15/265 for my pathy?

someone told me you can put any size for the 15 rims

Keep in mind that changing the tread size and keeping the same aspect ratio will greatly affect the overall diameter of the tire, which will affect the accuracy of the speedometer. For example, in the US, the standard tire size on a 92 Pathy is 235/75-15. The "75" is the aspect ratio, the "235" is the tread width in millimeters and "15" if for 15" wheel. The aspect ratio is the height of the sidewall shown in a percentage relation to the width of the tread. In this case, the sidewall height is the equivalent of 75% of 235MM, or 176MM (approx.). The diameter will be 733.5MM. If one was to replace that tire with a 205/75-15, the sidewall height would drop to 154MM and the diameter would drop to 688.5MM, creating a speedometer error of 6%. So, when traveling at 100KMH with the new, smaller tires (according to the speedometer), one would actually be going at a speed of 94KMH. There are a number of tire calculators online. You can go with a different tire size, just make sure you adjust the aspect ration accordingly if you wan't to keep the speedometer accurate; that's what makes a tire calculator so handy. For example, say you have 235/75-15's and you want the wider tread of 255 MM. You would go with a 255/70-15, which would only create a negligable 0.6% of speedometer error. At a speedometer reading of 100KPH, one would actually be going 100.6KPH....not a big difference. In general, the wider you go with the tread, the lower the aspect ratio number you'll need to keep the speedometer accurate.
