Frontseat headrests - do tilt adjustable ones exist?

Looking to see if adjustable headrests exists for a 2006 SE.
Ones that tilt back and forth.

Or, if the newer models have adjustable headrests - would they fit on a 2006?

1 more thing, can anyone recommend where to purchase this?

I thought they were all adjustable.Do you mean other than up and down?

Yes, ones that tilt back and forth.
Mine are tilted forward, and would like to see if ones exist that could tilt back.

I guess i should have made this more clear, sorry about that.

I just took mine out and flipped them around. works for now.

The only problem with this solution is that i thought headrests are specifically designed to help limit the severity of whiplash if in a car accident.

Please correct me if im wrong, as im not sure if the pathfinder's headrests fall into this category.

You are correct, they are active headrests, in a crash they move forward to help with whiplash.

i was pondering this myself. The headrest on my tahoe would tilt forwards and back and I would like to have that feature on the pathfinder. I'd like to know if I could put the head rest from another vehicle onto the pathfinder seats. Need to try this out.. The headrest are like rocks btw

Yes, I'd be curious to know if the headrest from another vehicle would fit in ours.

I know the 2006 Maxima's headrest tilt back and forward.
I wonder if these would fit our Pathfinders.

Any one here have the time, or a reliable source to try this out or might know?

My turbodiesel Pathy built in Spain has tilting headrests...not sure why the US-spec doesn't.

Headrest Discomfort

Hi all! I just recently purchased a 2006 Pathfinder SE. I love many things about it, but discovered on my long drive home that the headrests are excruciatingly uncomfortable. This resulted in serious upper back pain by the time I got home. I've tried adjusting the seat every way possible, but with no success. Are there some adjustable (i.e. adjust forward and backward in addition to the height) headrests from other Nissan vehicles that can be used in place of the stock headrests? I tried turning the headrest round based on other posts I had read, but it won't actually fit that way. Any other ideas besides putting additional foam padding on the back rest? Many thanks for any helpful tips!!

not sure how these headrests are considered uncomfortable unless you are expecting them to cradle your neck at all times? Most cars I drive (alot of them due to lots of rentals) don't do this.

My headrests tilt back and forth. Perhaps this is a UK model thing and worth looking into further?

Overseas Adjustable Headrest

I wrote to five (5) different dealers in England, as the Beatles sang, "No Reply". I would be interested in the headrest that adjusts forward and backward.
