VDC Light and 4x4 problems

Hello

I have a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder. I used my 4 wheel drive for about 5 minutes. Now I can't get it to switch back to 2 wheel drive.
I have done everything the book says and nothing works. I need it out of 4LO. I've also checked my break fluid and its full.

The "VDC off" light won't go off. I've pushed the button several times, unhooked the battery, etc. Nothing works!

Does anyone know what I can do?! I'm going crazy!!!

I have found that if you put it into reverse and move backwards a little bit (with a little bit of throttle) that it will shift out of 4x4 that way when it is flashing that it has not gone out of 4 wheel mode on its own.

If you are in 4LO, you need to be in Neutral to shift in and out of it.
