i'm kind of opposite...i mean if the car and boards were -brand new- then i'm good with the running boards.

however anything over 1-2 years gets that plastic fade, and -that- looks cheap as sh** to me. just like with jeep wranglers that get the fender flair fade. so cheap looking.

i mean i guess you can paint them, but bleh. cheap plastic crap!

Definitely a personal thing. IMO, I think any running boards make a vehicle look horrible and cheap. Especially the chrome ones.

Path went into the dealership to get checked out yesterday...acceleration is real laggy and bogged down. Often I'll give it gas to pass someone on the highway or accelerate, and I'll practically have to floor it, raising the RPMs high, and barley getting any more mph. Also oil pressure/temp gauge has been stuck on high(probably just the sending unit).
Said nothing was wrong with the transmission or anything, but it needs a new timing chain for $2,500 :( problems started right around 101/102,000 miles and now around 105

Pathfinder looks great srquill... how are the reverse lights working out for you through the window tint?

Definitely better the stock. Real bright, but I might put some lights on near the hitch or something to brighten it up a bit more

I just used Plasti-Dip on my 08. I love the new look of the Pathfinder when there is no chrome. It gives it a more sporty look.

The blacked out fronts look great, so good job guys! Seeing as how it literally takes about a minute to remove the front grill, I just have to ask why nobody is removing theirs to paint it.

srquill,

I know this is a plasti dip topic, but what LED lights did you use for the rear? Ever since I tinted my front windows it's been harder to see when backing up. I do have the camera, but more light would also be beneficial. Thanks.

That looks good on the hood with the angle matching the grill. You should also do the lower "skid plate" looking area between the fog lights.
