Eh, they can do that kind of mpg. Of course the investment is just a TAD higher than a trailer....and the repairs/maintenance/upkeep will blow your mind. Proof: I've owned one!

Well that doesn't sound good either, guess anything that has "RV" on it is going to cost extra money.

So far we are still looking at trailers trying to find the best match for us and the PF.

Should have asked, what mileage is everyone getting while towing? Talked with a 4Runner owner towing a 26 foot Keystone trailer (5400 pounds) estimated he was getting about 8 to 9 miles per gallon.

Hope I didn't miss this already discussed in this thread (tried to read each post) but can I add the airlift bags to my rear end with a 1" leveling kit? My rear end has a 1" donut insert in the coil springs but I was wondering if the airlift 1000 can sit on top of the insert and still fit ok inside the spring?

Normally trailer coupler height is around 17 inches, from the ground to the bottom of the coupler, and most hitch manufacturers design their hitches to work with a ball mount that will end up very close to this measurement.

There are plenty of receivers for the hitch that will raise or drop the ball to get it at the correct height for whatever you are towing. My 08 needs a ~4" drop to tow my boat trailer.
