Frozen door lock!

Postby PV_Pathfinder » Thu Nov 07, 2013 12:06 pm

2006 Pathfinder w/ 71k miles on it... Last night I went to unlock the drivers side rear door using the key fob and it wouldn't unlock along with the other doors. When I tried to unlock from the inside the lever is stuck or frozen. It sounds like the mechanism is activating when I use the power lock (key fob or button on drivers side window), but mechanically it's not doing anything. So I have a closed, locked door that apparently can't be unlocked. With the door closed, I don't think I'll be able to get the panel off! Any ideas?

thanks!

From this thread it looks like you should be able to remove the panel from inside and find a possible problem.

There was no final answer, but to me it sounds like the door lock actuator is not working properly and should probably be replaced.
