exhaust video

Postby akley88 » Fri Feb 14, 2014 11:54 am

i figured i would post the before and after videos of my exhaust since i just got me some long tube headers.

This is with the custom y pipe, no 2nd cats and magnaflow muffler

when i get the headers installed i will post a new video, not sure when that will be due to this damn snow we keep getting.

just a word of advice for anyone that is thinking about getting and installing headers yourself.an impact wrench is a must. drivers side took 3 hours and broke a 1/2" universal joint

so headers are in and now i need to go back to the exhaust shop, cause im either going to get resonators added or bullet mufflers to kill the raspiness from no cats and because i have a minor exhaust leak and the truck sounds like complete crap. so when i get the exhaust fixed i will post a new video for anyone that cares.

Here it is. I did retighten some of the exhaust manifold nuts. It helped some, but I think I need to replace the flange due to it being slightly warped causing leaks.
