NISMO Cold Air Intake for V8 Pathy
Any news of the possibility NISMO will come out with a CAI for the V8's?? From my searching only K&N "may" make one for the 5.6L but the sites I've been to advertise one for a 2004 5.6L, which must be a misstake .

The difference is likely the length of the plastic intake tube from the engine to the stainless clamp next to the MAF sensor.
The OEM paper air filter (and probably the air filter box as well) for the V6 4.0L and 08V8 5.6L are the same part number if that info helps.

First thing was to cut about 2.5" off the end of the intake. A shorter filter would do the same thing. Second was to drill a new hole for the intake to mount to on the heat shield(you can see the original hole and the new hole where the nut is). Third was to replace the crappy hose connector that AEM sells with the kit with a hump hose so it can move a bit. You can't see that in that pic, though. The one that comes with the kit is just way too short.(this is where the intake goes onto the throttle body).
Nothing on the PF was modified at all. And the intake would still work on a Titan if you wanted to sell it.

Yeh i too was curious to know how the performance has been changed. And one more thing, ive got a 08 v6 and live in the middle east where its really dusty..Was thinking of getting a K&N but the only problem im still not sure bout is whether or not it would provide adequate filteration.. Since i'd most probably be doing some of road driving in the desert..
Fuel economy went from 19 to 21 on the freeway. Freeway was really the only thing I noticed. But it was definitely from the intake. I never saw 21 before, which was significant because that is what my 2003 5.3 Tahoe would get and I was frustrated only seeing 19ish from this thing(but figured all the extra power was worth it 
).
The power gain was very noticeable and it sounds great when you put your foot down.
Like I said before, I can get these things and sell them already modified for you guys that are interested. We were going to build our own, but I never found a source for the MAF flanges...
