Even though you are out of warranty, there are other ways they can help you, such as Goodwill warranty or even just by working with you at repairing it with a lower cost. Sometimes they'll cover the part if you cover the labor or split the repair bill 50/50. You might even try complaining to the Sales Manager or General Manager of the dealership. They know that a Nissan diff should last more than 30000 miles. Remember the saying, "Squeaky wheel gets the grease!"
