Alternate tire size for '99 pathfinder

Just wondering if its acceptable to use 235-75R15 in place of the 265-70R15 factory size?

Crappy seletion in the 265 series.

yes that is a common tire replacement as well as the 31 x 10.5 r15

Bought a set of Bridgestone Dueler HT Uni-T tires. in the 265. . Better wet traction than the BGF long Trails I replaced and much, much quieter. They love to pick up stones, I've noticed. So far so good. Thanks
