Looks like a 2009 Pathfinder SE-Off Road. Only the SE-Off Roads came with Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control. They also came with extra skid plates, Bilstein shocks and slightly different sized tires.
I'm not 100% sure, but I believe they have the electronic limited-slip system that is standard on all of the R51's. It uses open rears and the ABS will lock the free-spinning wheel so that power goes to the wheel with the traction. It's getting to be a more common feature on many SUV's of different manufacturers and it works pretty well.
If you click on the fotos on that link...it shows the car has tye same button as is in the xterra...speaking of abls...i dont think so i am ever so constant in the sand and when stuck or have hanging wheels...the free wheel just spins away even witgout any gas input...but i would guess cars for the export market could have been speced and equiped differently
It's possible. North American and oversees models aren't the same in some aspects. For example, you can get the diesel oversees but not in North America.
I am fairly confident that no R51s came with locking diffs from the factory, but I have been wrong before. Although it could be an aftermarket differential locker, but he used a stock X/Fronty button to activate it.
I would want some proof about that rear locker for sure.
