vdc light off.......on

hi all..so today I pulled my battery cables. .to clean them..and the posts...
hok it all back up..and now my vdc off light is on..anyone know why..what did I do..and what can I do?

went out by itself..

When you disconnect the battery cable, you will often end up setting a code for the steering wheel position sensor. Once you start driving in a straight line, it will usually turn itself off. Worse case scenario, you will have to have the steering position relearned using a scan tool. There was a technical service bulletin about this.
