I have an 06 path SE and have mod a few mods such as a brush guard, and recently installed the 2'' mini lift from PRG, very happy with how it looks and handles.

I currently am running 265/75/16's and now that i have the 2 inch lift there is alot of room under the fenders!

I want to get some All-Terrain T/A® KO2's by BF

Wondering if anyone has any experience running 285/75/16's or even 295/75/16's with a 2 inch lift? And did you have to did any trimming or the melt mod? I'm hoping for a clean fit and no trim.

trim for the front is needed but not a whole bunch mostly if you do 4wheeling the front is the only area you rub i have only ran 285s and i rub

Might need new wheels for the 295's. I had 295's for a long while, thy still rubbed even with my lift.

Did you ever pick up some tires?

I've seen X's and Frontiers run them, but they seem neglected in the R51 community. It's a 33" tire and by being a little narrower, probably won't even rub.

The downside of course is the limited tire selection and only M/T tread option.

I was looking at the 295/75/16. So If I do the trim mod/melt, there will still be rubbing?

If the 295 is okay vs the 285, then I want to get the 295 as I believe it is the same price.

I have the stock 16 inch wheels (7 inches wide) and all rest is stock.

The 295 will rub the framerail under tight turns if they're mounted on stock wheels - lift doesn't really help this. You can add wheel spacers but then have to worry about the tires getting into the fenders and the pinch seam on the firewall. Note that it's recommended to run the 295 on a wider wheel than we havw - it's also wider and taller than the 285 - you can check specs on the tire vendor's website.

I'd say to run 295's you'll either want wheel spacers or aftermarket wheels (wider and offset further outboard) and you're either going to need 3+" of lift, a body lift, or be willing to pound down the pinch seam, do some extinsive melting/cutting of the inner fender and maybe cut some of the fender - or a combination of some of these. Results vary slightly with each rig/suspension/wheel/tire combo but once you get above the 285/75-16 it's a bit of a crapshoot.
