2000 pathfinder shut off while driving now wont start

Hi guys my 2000 pathfinder shut off in the middle of driving i had it towed home but it will not start it sounds like it wants to but just wont turn over it has fuel and spark, i was told could be a camshaft sensor any thoughts?

any check engine light?

No check engine light or codes when i hook up my scanner. It wants to start it cranks and then it like chugs like its gonna start and then stops.

Cam sensor is in the distributor and crank sensor is at the top of the transmission. The latter requires lowering the transmission down to get enough room to replace the crank sensor. I would think if it was either of the sensors, you wouldn't have spark, though, unless the spark is intermittent.
