Passenger side window only goes down from that side but up from both.
Have not really looked into it.

2008 "Bluebell" LE/V8 178,000 miles. Replaced a lot of suspension stuff due to normal wear and tear. Brakes have been redone at all four corners. Tires. Back glass struts. Driver side switch for passenger window doesn't bring it back up every time, only some of the time. This truck has been one of the best vehicles I've ever owned. So good in fact, I may buy another (same color, same year, V8) but with 110,000 miles just to stay in the game. Mine has more rust than I feel comfortable with as I bought it in a high road salt content province.

05 SE 4x4 with 205k. Rebuilt Tran in 2018. Cam Shaft Sensors replaced. Need to replace O2 Sensors.

how much the trans set you back?

About $4500. That included changing out the radiator also plus all of the labor. I figure I'll get at least another 200,000 miles or more out of it now.

Was the trans repair required because of a rad failure? Or did the trans wear out?

I have 215k miles on my 05, transmission seems to be good. When cold it has a rough shift from 1-2. Once warmed up its fine. It's been well used over the years, and I pull a 28ft travel trailer about 2-3 miles per year pulling it.

I ran the rad bypassed for over 5 years. Now I have a new rad and it's no longer bypassed.

Sounds like you saved the transmission and it was probably much cheaper.

My 2005 has 253k. Bought it a year old with 56k miles. It has always had a Rattle in the motor, after the dealer replaced the PCM they said it is just the traction control making that noise, and it still rattles! I go through a set of Brakes and Rotors every 75k, at 200k I replaced the Ignition coils and front tie rod assembly, had it aligned only to learn that the eccentrics sieze up on these things. so I purchased some extras. at 231k the belt tensioner started making noise, Replaced, at 235k the radiator, yes the one with the bad transmission cooler that I bypassed at 115k finally sprung a leak, then the heater core started to leak. I am a Mechanic and this is a Dealer only repair. 1200 bucks. they also replaced the intake gaskets. at 249k The fuel pump started starving for fuel, I made the mistake of buying an aftermarket FP. The fuel gauge reads empty with 8 gallons left in the tank, Buy the Nissan pump while you still can. I went through 4 sets of Rancho RS900 adj shocks, They have a lifetime warranty but I got sick of changing them, the last set started leaking after 20k miles. So I went with Bilstein. less expensive, and a way better ride. and have about 35k on them. I love this car so much, It runs great, burns 1/2 a quart of oil every 5k. I have always ran Mobil1 fluids in the Motor, Transmission, Transfer case, front and rear diffs. It needs a new paint job and the drivers leather seat needs a repair, But think I am just going to paint it and keep driving it. Oh yeah, The Check engine light has always been on. It is one of the 4 cats or 4 O2 sensors. Maybe someday I will fix, but it runs great. 23mpg on the highway.

I always worry about the cats.. if the front ones go they could spout particles into the engine and ruin it..
So I am toying the idea of punching them out myself.
Of course I am only at 148,000

That's a pretty rare occurrence on the R51's. If you gut the front's, you'll need to get a custom tune from UpRev because it creates a lean condition on these engines, not to mention to keep the catalyst codes from triggering. No issues if you do the rear converters, though.

Can one run o2 sensor spacers to mitigate that lean condition and codes?

That's good to hear.
I heard about it on the Xterra forums and I was getting concerned since its same powertrain..
also conversely if its rare on R51 that means its also rare on Frontier and on Xterra.
