Don't forget new crush washers for the diff plugs. There are two per diff. The transfer case uses them, too. Nissan P/N: 11026-4N200 . If you need one for the oil pan plug, it's Nissan P/N: 11026-01M02 Any way I can just buy one at a local autozone or something? Does anyone know what diameter it wo...

Differences between the kinds of ATF fluids available

I'm talking about Nissan-matic K, D, J and S. I heard S replaced J, but when, and what of the other two? Are some newer, and therefore "better" to use on a transmission? Also, what kind does a 2008 V6 take? I would have looked into my manual, but left it in a friend's car when we drove to ...

Still a little confused...

Hey thanks for the diagram, but I'm still confused as to where it is. You said its near the back and to the right, but the diagram shows its more to the left. Granted, I haven't gotten a chance to take the cover off and REALLY look for it on account of the weather, but is there any way anybody can p...

Where is the PCV valve located on a 2008 V6 model?

I just changed my air filter a few weeks ago and noticed that these was a fair amount of oil on it. I know that one reason for this would be a clogged PCV valve causing pressure buildup in the crankcase. I want to ask if anybody can post a picture or link me to a diagram they have telling me where i...

Thanks for the Advice everyone. I think I'll wait for the weather to get warmer and pull out the panel. What exactly would I be looking for?

HELP! Its winter and my window is stuck in the down position

Hi everybody. I was wondering if anybody ever had this issue with one of their windows. Last night, I rolled me driver side window down to pay the toll and heard a loud grinding sound as it went down. Now it will not roll up at all. Everytime I would hit the switch, it would move up about 3 inches f...

Will do. That sounds like what I've read, but I wasn't too sure if its the only difference. So, you think I just need some longer hoses?

What extra parts are needed to replace an 08' radiator?

I just bought an 08 pathfinder a few weeks ago, and decided to be proactive and change the radiator to avoid the dreaded transmission fail. After reading some of your posts online, it seems that there are slight differences btw the 08' radiators and the earlier models. Like a lot of other people I j...

Please give some adive for a newbie about TRANS failure

Hi everyone, I just bought a used 2008 pathfinder a few weeks ago because I'm moving to Minnesota soon, where I have plenty of family and places to camp and boat (when I get one, which I intend to, very soon.) I needed an SUV with power, room and reliability, and the pathfinded fits the bill. I am, ...
