The PNP and neutral safety switch are one in the same, just a difference in terminology. It is intergrated into the shifter assy., but it is also available seperate as a service replacement (meaning you can replace the PNP switch without replacing the entire shifter. If you are jumping the starter d...

Usually the rears aren't a problem; the fronts sorta "filter" the exhaust before it ever gets to the rears. Converters can fail in two ways: they become clogged/restrictive or they become inefficient at breaking down the emission gases. In either scenario, to properly fix it, the catalytic...

THat's because it's not on the trans, it's in the shifter assy!

Rear AC and engine coolant lines run along the right side of the vehicle, above the exhaust heat shields to the cooling/heating unit in the right/rear of the vehicle on those models with rear AC. Here's a link to what the piping looks like that goes to the rear cooling/heating unit. http://www.nissa...

I believe it's in the shift lever assy. The trans is electronically controlled, so there is no cable going to the side of the trans like older Pathys.

I've been using Valvoline Maxlife ATF in my 2006 LE and 2008 SE for about a year now, and also in an 08 Mazda 6 that specs Mazda "V" ("MV") ATF. All are doing fine!

5W30 is the recommended oil. I don't know of any Nissan that calls for anything but 5W30 or 10W30.

I usually just push the wiper arm in and out until it breaks loose on the stud and then it'll come right off.

Fuel injection systems don't "vapor lock." I would be leaning toward the cam and cranks sensors. They do tend to fail when the get hot, don't always set a trouble code, and when they fail, unburned fuel gets passed to the catalytic converter and can ruin them.

I would have the codes checked by a scantool that can access the ABS systems, BCM, etc. I would look for a U1000 CAN communication code. If so, there was a lengthy TSB put out for this concern involving cleaning a number of specific grounds in the engine compartment and behind the dash. You might al...

Freon should never need to be added unless there is a leak. R51's came with dye in the freon from the factory. I would start looking for the leak before I waste money on freon. If you have rear AC, the first place I'd check is the rear AC lines; that seems to be a common failure. Look for a greenish...

I've been listening to that annoying squeek in my 06 LE for the past couple of months and it's been driving me crazy! I can't really hear it when I crank up the radio, but driving on these crude, bumpy backroads in VA with the radio off, it's been hard to tell where it's been coming from! Going to t...

I'm not 100% sure, but I think memory seats were only available on the LE. As mentioned already, you would have the memory seat switch on your driver's door panel, if you did.
