SoCal4x, I also have the OME 609 (Med) in the rear, and like you said, night and day difference. However, I carry mtn bikes and my buddies to the trail, along with gear and I never bottom out. Do you have the OME shocks as well? The Med springs are still a bit stiff, but not too bad at all. For off...

Rear Bumper

I recall a post on here not too long ago that the Xterra has the same basic mounting configuration as the Pathfinder bumper. I'd like to put on a Shrockworks bumper. Has anyone tried this or had experience with it. My rear bumper cover is thrashed. Right now I have 3M grip tread covering some gouges...

OME rears

I have the OME 609s on the rear. They are 100x better than stock. But, if you 'wheel really hard or tow, I would go with the HDs. Problem for me is that they would probably ride too harsh...Right now if I put a couple mountain bikes on the back end, and have the cargo area loaded with riding gear/ c...

-Ragpaoa---keep us informed on the ARB bar...I'm very interested...

By the way, do you get the bumper for "free" if they use your vehicle as a test bed? I have been trying with little success to get Borla to do that for me since they are close to where I live.

I was thinking we could cannibalize Jeep disconnects, but they are too long...

www.mcmaster.com sells rod end linkages (heim joints), some of them have greaseable zerk fittings attached, which is a cool bonus..

With the swaybars disconnected, you can definitely push it harder...I have only done the rear, not the front. I haven't done the front because it looks to me like it would hit the steering arms if I pushed the bar up, or left it hanging. It seems to me we should be able to do something like this: ht...

They are really bright...probably not right for fog...They make a different model for fog...I have them aimed straight out as an aux. driving light...Haven't driven at night in the rain with them.

I may have been exaggerating a little, but they are really surprising for such a small package.

socal4x: What rims & tires are you running ? Thanks, Nvrdone ProComp Extreme 17x8 Nitto Terra Grapplers 265/70/17 (not that good a tire. Okay off road, lasted only 14,000 miles, harsh ride, no good in our local snow or ice, which tends to be very wet compared to more wintery parts of the planet...

Re: Pics, Finally

I noticed the extra set of lights on your bumper... fogs or driving? How much of difference in regards to lighting before and after complete install? Which brand name do you have installed? Re: OME issues

my alignment is fine, according to the dealer. they say it is the suspension causing the problems. t Typical...in other words..."We are too dumb or lazy or both to figure out what your real problem is...so we are taking the easy way out and...Oh, look, you don't have stock suspension...yup, th...

aftermarket exhaust

Just curious what others have. I had the Gibson on for about a day...the vibration in the cab was so bad I couldn't take it....maybe if I used the stock resonator with it...

Anyone just "cut out" the stock muffler and replace it with a Dynomax or something?
