I am in W Ky and have a 2008 Pathfinder V8 4x4 with 213,000 miles , bought it high mileage so no clue what has been done. Love how it drives . Some great info & folks here it seems and that is much appreciated!

Those engines last a long time! :D

I recommend replacing the radiator as a first preventative measure if its still original.
While it was the V6 models that were famous for transmission destruction via faulty early model year radiators (SMOD) the V8s may also be at risk.

Also at that milage you are due for a new one anyway if its original.. :D

Thank you for the welcome! Yes I believe it's been changed but plan to change the rad in the near future anyway!
