2in Lift UPDATED NOW WITH PICS

So I just got these in and will be doing a Mod Day.
Bilstein 5100s adj. shocks and AC rear coils. The rear coils are massive, I hope it doesn't give me more than 2in, if it does I hope it settles down to it.

I would love to do a how to on this, but im kinda limited on time as I will be renting out the bay on post to do my lift.

Nice! Let me know how it goes. The roads here where I'll be living for the next 2-3 years are pretty bad, the Pathy's butt end tends to wallow a bit. I'd like to tighten up the rear. I also want to get a 2-3" lift and bigger tires for it as well. :)

So I finished the lift today, will post pix later its been raining all day.

My method of measuring is, I was on a flat surface and measured from the ground to the lip of my fenders at the middle of the hub, hope that makes sense. Also Im still running my stock SE size tires.

Here are some measurements:
Before: LF-34"
LR-34 1/4
RR-34 1/4
RF- 34
After: LF-36
LR-36 1/2
RR-36 1/2
RF-36 1/4
So far Ive put about 100 miles(60 miles hwy, 40 miles city) since the lift and all I can say is WOW, the bilstein for the front is nice, no more thump when hitting pot holes or bumps and the rear, well if you have a problem with the rear being to soft and bottoming out, I would suggest the AC coils, I am very pleased with this purchase.

K, Before anything, I found out that all 2005-2008 Frontiers, Xterra's and Pathfinder's share the same front suspension setup, With that said, for the front I ordered the Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks for a 2006 Xterra 4wd(they dont have one listed for pathfinders 4wd) from shockwarehouse.com part# F4-BE5-E653-H0, and for the rear I went with 2in lift coils from 4x4parts.com.

You will also see that the part# for the struts will be the same if you also look up frontier SE LE, No NISMO.

Looks good. I would say all you need now is some tires with some more meat on them and you'll be set.

Yeah the tires are gonna wait until these are worn, most likely will get it when I get the Calmini setup in Feb.(Tax Money)

how the front shocks are working? I ordered the same shocks. do they have any of the stretching travel left?

Front shocks are a big improvement than OE, imho, way better ride on streets, as far as stretching travel, I havent done any off roading yet so I cant confirm anything on that, but driving on the beach, I dont here the thumps anymore.

How much did this little project run you? I'm debating on doing the prg mini lift or to do this.

the front shocks were on special so I got it for 141.00 shipped, and the rear coils were 150.00 plus shipping, so total after shipping was about 312.00. I only went with this set up cause i knew it would work with the 5 in calmini later, where as if i would have gone with prg I would not be able to keep the spacers. Hope this helps
