I dont have any advise for you but I must say that I am amazed you have had such problems with the oem brakes. I have a 120K on my '05 and I am still on the original brakes. I aint easy on them either... I pull a ski boat on a regular basis and have even been to the drag strip multiple times (not just to watch). Unless you drive in the mountains constantly, I cant see why your brakes wear out so quick.mar1 wrote: ...my first set lasted 35K, second set 15k, im on my third set just reached 20k, and need replacement soon.
my driving hasnt changed at all, and im always using OEM, but i have a feeling Nissan is not installing the same stuff for me all the time.
Make sure they are going to use all new OEM Nissan parts to fix your truck. Insurance companies always look for the cheapest way out and do not care about the quality of your repair.mar1 wrote:thanks for the info Shawn, will check them out.
got my quote from Nissan today. $6715 to fix!
thank god for insurance

Sounds like an after market radiator. That's probably the one after market part on our trucks I wouldn't mind using. A lot of the after market radiators have a lifetime warranty.HillbillyJake wrote:pawjr74 wrote:Make sure they are going to use all new OEM Nissan parts to fix your truck. I am not sure I would want an OEM rad . I do not think an aftermarket one could do much worse. I noticed the one that they installed in my truck after my accident has a sticker on it that reads "made in tiwan". I am not sure if it is OEM or not.
