Iced: Thanks for the info on the OME springs.

I am going to go with the loaded Rancho Quicklift and XL9000 rear shocks with the rancho rear spacer. It seems to have good reviews from the guys that are running that setup and the stiffness of the shocks is adjustable which I think would be nice to have. I am not going to be doing any hardcore off-roading so the spacers should not be an issue for me. I plan on ordering the kit this week.

To anyone else looking at doing this type of lift: Rancho is running a $100 rebate offer right now through the end of the month when you get shocks/struts for all 4 corners of your truck.

Model year- 2008 LEV8

Lift height:1", 2", 3" etc....--- 2"

Type of lift: suspension? body lift? or both? Both.

Brand: Rancho Quicklift Loaded in the front, Rancho spacer in the rear.

Hows the ride compared to stock- a little softer with a little more roll.

How long have you had the lift installed- 1 day.

If you had to do it again would you change anything- add Ranchos in the rear if had more $. I am very happy with it, my finest beach buggy yet!

problems you ran into- empty wallet.

what brand/size rims/tires your using- Nitto Terra Grappler 275/65 - R18 on stock rims.

Not the best pic.

@ Hesh: What stiffness setting did you put your Rancho Loaded struts at? I will be getting mine installed next week after the lower A-arm cam bolts come in. I was thinking of setting it at 7 to start off with.

I left mine at the standard, 5 I think. Will see how the ride feels after a week or so and adjust if needed. Definitely a nicer street ride now. May be able to get in the sand tomorrow for some fun.

I got my Rancho quicklift and XL shocks installed today. Started with the shocks and struts at 3, that was quickly adjusted up to 7 for the front and rear. I messed around a little more with it this afternoon and ended with the front at 7 and the rear at 8. Got about 2" of lift in the front and 1.75" in the rear. Alignment went pretty easy without needing to install the new cam bolts.

Looks like I need to buy the rear Airlift now to even things out and stiffen up the rear. Are there different kits out there, and if so which one is best? Thanks for the help.

Wizzard, would you happen to have any other pictures that you can post? I would love to see this lift on your pathfinder. All I see are red x's right now.
Thanks

Lift height:1", 2", 3" etc....- ~6”

Type of lift: Suspension & drop bracket

Brand: RadFlo 2.5 coilovers and UCA's with 625# springs, in front, 4x4Parts Rear springs with RadFlo 2.0 rear emulsion shocks in rear, on top of Calmini drop bracket kit

Hows the ride compared to stock- A lot firmer, much improved vs stock. Stiffer. With the 2.5's CO's and 625's in front, no sway bar needed.

How long have you had the lift installed- about 5 days.

If you had to do it again would you change anything- Not so far.

problems you ran into- None thus far. Some bolts needed to be cut, but that’s expected for a 5 year old vehicle that spent a good bit of its life on the east coast.

what brand/size rims/tires your using- Fuel Hostage, 18x9, 4.5BS w/ Motorsport Tech Adapters, 19mm, and 295/65 R18’s, GYDT’s. Not installed as of yet, I need to trim the studs in order to accommodate the wheel adapters.

And I need to install the sliders too.

Front fenders needed modification, and still rub when flexed.

Considering it's a drop bracket, I still have decent front clearance. I attribute that to the PRG/RadFlo's.

you need those tires and wheels to come in quick. Those OEM tires look horrible on there.

Problem with EFS 2" LIFT KIT

Postby hashimozotoyama » Sat Feb 09, 2013 5:07 am

Hi there,

I had a 2" lift kit from EFS (Australian) installed on my 2008 PF about 2 months ago. Ever since, I have had to endure a very irritating clunking sound whenever the front wheels drop into a pothole. Turns out that the lift reduces the clearance between the upper A arm and the strut casing considerably (only about 2cm clearance). I can even clearly see the strike marks on the casing where the A-arm bangs onto it every time.
I heard that the only solution is to get new upper arms from Calmini that are straight and allow for more clearance. Am I the only guy here facing this problem or what?

Any help would really be highly appreciated.

Hash.

This might solve your problem:

I believe they also fit the pathfinder as well.

I would call PRG and explain your issue to them before you buy anything!
