im not sure, but im guessing the rear unit is just a blower, and not a separate resistance.

do you get heat after a while, or no heat at all in the rear ?

u might have a damaged or displaced hose somewhere along the way from the front to the read ducts.

If he did that he wouldnt have heat at all because he wouldnt have any coolant left.

I've got the same problem in my 05. I've tried the burping process detailed here http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?t=2504 twice now and still haven't gotten it to work. I'm going to try it one more time and then I'll prolly just take it in to have a tech vacuum flush it.

nah i meant an air hose inside the cabin that the heat flows thru, not the coolant.

used to have a Fiat that had hoses running under the seats for rear heat. the passenger seat would get warm as hell cause the air hose was broken just under the seat...... free seat heaters in a 1981 fiat. i never fixed it :P

Damn, my 06 Pathy is doing the same! I haven't messed with it yet but I did read the "burping" method thread. Sounds to be a common issue!

I checked the coolant level in the reservoir and it was just under the bare minimum level. Had to get the oil changed and had them add coolant. Now the rear heat is working again! :D
