I got my Yakima SkyBox 16s last week and was able to take it to the Poconos, PA this weekend.

I couldn't hear any significant wind noise up until over 70mph. There was some light rain and it kept everything inside nice and dry. I did hear a weird whistling sound going 80mph downhill. It only lasted for a few seconds. I must have hit a crosswind.

With this on and driving an average of 70-75mph, I got 17mpg

I bought it from Amazon for $460 - $100MIR and free shipping.

Nice, really looks low to the roof on the factory bars. I was wondering about adding something similar and what the pump penalty would be. Mine may be worse since I have yakima crossbars and towers from a previous vehicle so it would sit quite a bit higher. Maybe it's worth going with the factory crossbars. Anyone happen to have compared?

I got my cross bars from eBay for $150 ... http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?t=3403

I've only had the Pathy for a month and this was the first time I drove it on the freeway. I was averaging 15mpg around town  I currently have 600 something on the odometer

Nice. It looks like a perfect fit. I have a sunroof too so it looks like it would be the perfect lenght to fit behind the sunroof and still allow the tailgate to open. Nice find.

looks good.

I have a thule force xl that I bought off of a friend's dad for $50. they're $500 brand new. he'd used it twice and it was just sitting in his garage, so I asked him about it. he said that he didn't need it and wasn't sure why he bought it in the first place. the thing didn't have a scratch on it. it was my lucky day

anyway, I lose 1mpg with it on, but it's absolutely worth having. congrats

Yes it's hard plastic. All I could find on Yakimas website is "Made in the USA with up to 80% recycled material"
