P1273..where should I look.??

Postby kingfisher73 » Wed Oct 07, 2015 4:32 am

Hello all..I have a P1273 code..2005 SE.
also..not sure if it's related but on either side of the passenger side cat..I have exhaust leaks at the flange...
Not sure if that is related or affected to the code..
thx in advance for any replies..

P1273 is an air/fuel sensor lean shift code for bank 1, which would be the upstream sensor on the passenger side bank. You could have a bad air/fuel sensor (it would be called an oxygen sensor on the aftermarket), but I would suggest you take care of the exhaust leaks, clear the codes and see if they come back before getting a new sensor.
