Intelligent key only unlocking sometimes........

Hi my 2011 pathfinder key fob only unlocks sometimes even using both keys, once it finally unlocks ITs fine you can lock and unlock till your hearts content!

When car is left locked for a while , say overnight, it takes a good 5 min of pushing unlock and door / boot button and then it just g decides to unlock.

Don't think is battery in fob because happening to both fobs and like I said above once you get it unlocked it works fine.

Any help appreciated.

My response might be a bit late, but EVERY time this has happened to my girlfriends Sentra (2013), it's always either been the battery in the key or in 1 case, the car battery.
