I've just collected a new Pathfinder Adventura, obtained at a very good price in the UK thanks to the credit crunch/recession. My initial reaction - a lot of motor for the money - especially what I paid. I've fancied a big 4x4 for some time - especially one with all the toys on it. Althouh it takes hours of manual study to get your head round all of the options. Very good deal too on insurance from, of all people, Marks and Spencer.
Driving reactions (after 40 miles) : like floating on air. Smooth 2 wheel drive, gear change OK if you don't try to hurry things. Bose sound sysyem superb. Comfort - better than my old BMW coupe by far.
So, even a bad tempered old Yorkshireman has to admit to being impressed.
Next target: one of those dinky tents that fit on the back, as I am disabled and have a problem with stairs.... Second hand, of course, if anyone has one.
