PRG LIFT

Postby PathyJoy » Wed May 27, 2009 9:35 am

If you have used it or researched it, what are your thoughts on the PRG 2” lift kit. I have an ’07 SE (not off road edition) and wanted to get a tad more lift and larger wheels. Are there any other options out there without getting too involved w/ a suspension upgrade? Most of my off road driving will be in sand so I don’t need a huge lift. I was also looking to upgrade wheel size to a 17” or 18” rim and still get away without any fender work.

Thanks for any info.

you will be able to get larger wheels with out it having any issues. 17'' or 18'' does not need a lift unless you are putting huge tires on the rims. the path can handle a 22'' rim with the right tire with no problem.

Check out the post of "did some mods on pathfinder". I have the peg mini kit with larger tires and 17" rims. The wheels are wider then stock with a different offset and I only had minimal rubbing on real tight turns

Iwasn't planning on going w/ huge tires isnce 80% of my driving is on the highway. To play it conservative I was thinking of 265/70/17 or 265/65/18. At least something in that neighborhood. I didn't was to reduce the tire profile below 65.
NJPathy, Your truck looks great. I'm not sure I want to step up to a 285.
