Got tired of vent clip things, but also didn't want to permanently adhere anything to my dash plastic. Stumbled across this:

When you add your favorite magnetic mount from Amazon. Doesn't block controls or vents, puts my phone in a convenient place for navigation or calls. Completely removable, doesn't look tacky.
