Shift Knob removal

I have a auto knob off a 2000 maxima. It looks like it should fit (crosses fingers) but I can't for the life of me get the Pathy knob off. I've got the console apart, but how in the heck do you get the knob off. The ESM doesn't say squat but, remove shift assembly.

Should be a screw somewhere .... may have to pop a trim piece off to get to it though ... Hmm ...
