Any redesign coming??

Anyone hear any rumors, or see any pictures of the next generation Pathy? I mean geaz, I've got a 2005, and the body style is unchanged for the most part. There for a while, Nissan was running 5 year body style plans. This would mean we should be due for a change. I haven't seen anything yet, other then the Patrol/Infinti pictures, which wasn't the replacement for the Pathfinder.

Don't get me wrong, the long the body style stays the same, the better my 2005's resale is, but I'm still curious one way or the other.

A rumor i had heard was changing the Pathy to a unibody. With Nissan struggling to even get a proper pick-up truck secured to replace the old one, I'm not expecting it too soon. This whole EPA thing is going to hurt anything that is beefy enough to do some serious off-road time. The EPA just released more bad news with stricter standards. Everything will be a turbo winding out the last reaches of power from a little 3 or 4 cylinder at this rate.

There are rumours as per autonews that the new gen pathy would be based on the Nissan Patrol Platform, since the Armada on which the current gen is based on would be discontinued.
